 3SI Security Systems
Here is what people are saying about this great industry partner!

The impacts of organized retail crime have made headlines across the nation.  From California to New York, law enforcement officials and businesses have had to face the challenges that organized retail crime crews have brought to their stores and communities.  Numerous stories exist about crews brazenly entering stores and scooping up merchandise with no intent of paying for the items, and with the decrease in law enforcement personnel, police departments typically do not have the resources to assign officers to highly targeted locations.  Even if they did, the cost to deploy officers at stores would be exorbitant.

For the last several years, the Redlands Police Department (RPD) has utilized electronic satellite pursuit technology manufactured by 3SI Security Systems to apprehend theft suspects, armed robbers, and burglars.
Law enforcement has begun to turn the tables on organized retail crime crews by working with retail asset protection specialists to deploy these trackers on items that are prone to being stolen.  We would not be as effective if not for the unique service that 3SI Security Systems provides enabling us to lay a trap that has repeatedly been proven to apprehend those that are intent on committing organized retail crime.  3SI Security Systems’ 24-hour 7 day a week Tracking Support Center is there to assist law enforcement with any deployments or tracking incidents.  In addition, 3SI’s Law Enforcement Division stands ready to assist police departments with unique deployments and any other issues that may arise, including precisely locating the tracking device, search warrant preparation, and additional investigation.  As cases are prepared for prosecution, 3SI’s team of experts will help to prepare for trial by providing detailed tracking maps that illustrate time, direction, and speed of travel.  These maps allow investigators to create a bread crumb trail as to which way the suspects traveled after they committed the crime which ultimately enables detectives to collect more evidence.

With over 350 arrests attributed to the technology, RPD has numerous success stories as to how the technology and services provided by 3SI security Systems has enabled the department to enhance police services and apprehend both violent and property crime offenders.  In one recent example, RPD officers deployed a GPS tracking device in the cash register at a convenience store that is prone to robberies.  Recently, a subject robbed the store at gunpoint and fled the location.  The on-duty dispatcher had a very difficult time navigating the website, so responding officers called into the Tracking Support Center and spoke directly to a tracking specialist who guided an officer down a busy freeway during the rush hour commute.  The specialist provided up-to-the-second updates and was immediately able to inform the officer when the suspect exited the freeway about 65 miles away from where the robbery took place.  Furthermore, the specialist was able to direct the officer to a remote parking lot of a casino.  Utilizing information provided by the tracking center, officers were able to pinpoint which vehicle the suspect was likely in and ultimately made an arrest. (If needed, 3SI Law Enforcement Division members could have provided guidance as to how to determine the exact location in the vehicle the tracker was placed by utilizing radio frequency transmissions.)  Afterwards, Law Enforcement Division members provided officers with tracking maps depicting the exact route of travel.

Although this is only one example of the service provided by 3SI Security Systems, there are countless other examples from the City of Redlands and across the country.  Because of 3SI Security Systems and the services they provide, law enforcement across the nation has been able to hold a countless number of criminals accountable for the crimes they have committed.  3SI Security Systems is definitely worthy of being considered as Solution Provider Partner of the Year.

ThinkLP
Here is what people are saying about this great industry partner!

  • ThinkLP has allowed Canada Post Security and Investigation Services to centralize and streamline its case management activities and has given us a platform to design efficient workflows to make ThinkLP the one-stop-shop for all day-to-day activities of our field investigation teams.
  • About Julie Lawson, Global Account Director -     Julie is so knowledgeable and helpful, as our LP program changed, she committed to evolving with us and kept us informed about what TLP could do for our business.  One new area of focus that Julie assisted us with was automating our incident reporting for the organization, which streamlined the process of reporting, notifying, and managing our case load.
  • ThinkLP never says no when we pitch an idea, instead they find ways to make it work, repurpose features, and release updates that give us the functionality we need to tie together critical business elements including case management, PO preparation and tracking, project and change management, client management, and personnel screening.
  • Our account managers and developers, although not dedicated to us, are always available on short notice, go out of their way to give us top notch service, and ensure that problems are solved before moving on.
  • ThinkLP works with its clients to build their business capabilities, but also their own platform, meaning that input and feedback is strongly recognized as valuable. It makes customers feel like more than just another account, but that we are truly collaborative and that this is not a vendor/client relationship, but a partnership.   "
  • Regarding Think LP and Tim Read….Working with Think LP is fantastic! The ease at which the relationship forms and progresses really personifies how a partner and client relationship should be! The relationship should be  rewarding and resourceful for each participant. With Think LP they work with you to do what is best for your organization, I don't know if I've ever heard "no, we can't do that", it's always, "I'm sure we have a way to do that, if we don’t, we'll create one!"
  • The partners at ThinkLP that have worked with me for my own and my company's Loss Prevention needs for reporting and tracking are always standouts from the various vendors/partners I work with within my job. They are always quick to assist, very detail oriented with responses, and they have never given off the impression of importance, or lack thereof, if I am experiencing any issue and look to them for help. As a partner in the forever-changing world of Loss Prevention, they are a shining example of professionalism and how amazing partnerships should be.
  • The team at THINKLP has been a key driver of improvements in our case management tools that have not only brought efficiency and endless data points to leverage in helping to guide our strategic planning but has yielded a tremendous amount of positive feedback from our field users on the simplicity and gains found with our implementation at The Home Depot.
  • The partners at ThinkLP go above and beyond to ensure our company needs are met.  Specifically, Elaine who is remarkably always available.  She is super quick and responsive to needs, very patient and a great teacher.  Elaine understands our business extremely well and is often making suggestions to perfect and improve on our current processes as if she works for rue21.  With ThinkLP we have streamlined many processes this year.  We are extremely lucky to have her and ThinkLP as partners.
  • ThinkLP has been a great partner during the 2 years I have used them as my incident reporting platform. Their customer service is world class. They are very quick to respond to your needs and find solutions for them. We used them to generate our OSHA 300 logs this past year and it was great! It saved our team a few days of work that would have been needed to build them manually. They also provided several solutions needed during the pandemic such as cleaning checklist reports and daily medical associate check-in logs. My department is too small to be able to have a systems administrator so we our very thankful for the technical support that ThinkLP provides.
  • ThinkLP was instrumental part of driver safety program management life cycle, called “Hands on the Wheel” that puts leading telematics data in the hands (ThinkLP mobile app) of our front-line managers to engage our people on safe driving.  The program focuses on five behaviors (Acceleration, Braking, Speeding, Cornering and Backing) and directs managers on who and when they need to engage, provides the coaching content and captures to the discussion and resolution. The program has quantifiable targets to measure continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Since moving to Think LP we have changed the efficiency and effectiveness of the way we manage and view risk across the group, especially in loss prevention.  Whether this is real time updates of incidents, highly customizable notifications & functions through the process builder so we can focus on what is important and get the information we need to the right people. It helped us move from 10 different spreadsheets which had to continuously  be downloaded and updated into one online modern platform which everyone in our department uses daily.
  • Regarding Jacob Kosterman, Jacob (and Darko) is very responsive to our needs as a partner.  Using the agile approach, they continue to improve their product and services all the time by constantly communicating with my team in a variety of ways.
  • I have worked with many different software companies during my professional career. ThinkLP has been by far the best company I have worked with. They are not only responsive and timely but solution oriented. With so many other companies I hear ""that is not possible"", but for TLP that is a very rare comment. They are continually thinking of creative solutions to any request I have. They are happy to provide whatever level of assistance I prefer. They will do something for me, provide instructions on how I can do it myself or walk me through it on a video call. I have been able to adapt the system to fit our expanding needs even branching into new areas for TLP.

Tracy carefully balances the needs of the business with the role and the person to make sure that she is only putting people in front of the right person for the role. Tracy has helped countless people, whether she got paid or not, because at the end of the day she is a people first leader that knows what's best for her clients and her customers.

Surrounding yourself with the best talent is one of the most important decisions a leader can make, and Tracy makes that decision more efficient and effective. We have a tendency to focus on hardware or software solution partners when we think about adding value. However, there is not better value add than the assistance with our  most important asset.... people.  For that reason, I am nominating Tracy Nini
  • Tracy is a major contributor to many of our industry organizations and a voice for its female professionals as illustrated by her involvement in several industry leader groups and participation in a variety of industry webinars and podcasts.
  • Tracy is an industry icon with whom many of us, at least in part, can credit part of our success as she has helped to guide us as we navigate our career path.   She has always been a trusted resource to help us build our teams as well.  This would be an honor long past due as Tracy is not only the best Solution Provider Partner of THE Year, she is THE BEST solution provider partner EVERY Year!
